Classification Of Trees

Tree is one of the most beautiful things which God has ever given us as a gift. I find very sad when people ignore them and don’t take proper care for them .We forget that they too are a living thing which doesn’t take anything form us but give us everything.

Trees can be classified according to the characteristics and features. Some trees are green and other is non-green depending upon the structure.

1. Deciduous trees: This kind of tree loses it green color and shades their leaves at the certain period of the season. They do this to adapt the climate and condition of the place. Their leaves start from bright yellow to different shades of orange. Ex: - black oak and plane tree.

2. Evergreen trees: This type of tree remains green all throughout the year whatever the condition would be. Ex: - pine and spruce trees.

3. Conifer trees: Conifer trees are more needles like leaves and most of the time they are evergreen and bear cones. Some of the examples of the conifer trees are spruce and cedar.

4. Flowering trees: This type of tree grow and create pleasing scenery for the nature with there beautiful different flowers. Such trees are pawpaw and mimosa.

5. Oak trees: These types of tress grow in wet areas and low lands of the mountain slopes. They are generally hard wood tree and flowers are clustered beautifully. The fruits they bear are called corn.

6. Christmas trees: This tree was form at the 17th century and said to be discovered by Martin Luther but later Prince Albert gave a gift to the queen Victoria which later spread world wide. People decorate this tree add lots of fun to the season of Christmas.

7. Ash trees: This tree had more than 70 types of different species. Scientist fails to discover the origin of the disease which kills this tree. They have long petals and valued for the timber.

8. Big trees: As the name signifies this type of tree grows at a great height and provides shelter and protection. Examples of such trees are sweet gum and oak tree.

9. Willow trees: This type of trees are found near the moist areas and grow very fast. Animals used to eat the leaves of this tree and at the same time used for making ornaments. They have both male and female flowers.

10. Shady trees: Shady trees are the tress which give shade and protection from sunlight as well as natural agents. They have nice big leaves and the branches of such trees are close to the each other which give them a nice shape.

11. Olive trees: This kind of tree is known for the wood and the green fruit and white leaves. The fruits changes blue to purple when the completely ripen. But it recommends to prepare the fruit before you eat the fruit.

All Trees are great and beautiful and the common things which all trees share is the valuable life saving gas called Oxygen.
